Whatever the starting point, 1:1 coaching offers a dedicated and safe space where you can:

• do some clear thinking and problem solving
• get in touch with your emotions and work out what’s going on for you
• be unedited and say the things you can’t say elsewhere
• learn to trust that you’re doing ok
• explore ways that you can ‘get out of your own way’ with some fresh perspective
• get support balanced with compassionate challenge

My coaching style is clear and compassionate, straight talking and supportive. By helping you develop greater self-awareness, I enable you to catch your blind spots, explore different perspectives and experiment with new ways of working that will have an immediate impact on your personal effectiveness and the ways you feel.
The coaching process begins with a session to create a picture of where the you’re at right now and what’s going on in your working and wider life. Then can we start to get clear on your focus for the coaching. This might involve further diagnostic work and might also involve your line manager. Then, together with you, we agree a tailored programme that is realistic and supportive but will also stretch you.
Most of my work is now over Zoom and over the phone, of course.  And I find this is just as – if not sometimes more –  powerful than face-to-face.
