"I would like to live like a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding." John O'Donohue
Whats in a name - Why Sweetwater Alchemy?
“We must begin thinking like a river if we are to leave a legacy of beauty and life for future generations.”
― David Brower
I am a river, stream and creek person. The sounds, the smells, the light, the feeling. They are healing medicine. There is nothing more sacred than walking in the middle or beside a stream, surrounded by mountains and forest. It is a place of surrender, where you can just be.
Water is sensitive, flowing, revitalising, wildly enthusiastic, creative or destructive. It is our greatest nurturer and essential for our survival.
Beaver Ponds tend to be a place of magic and solitude. They find just the right waterway, chew down timber and create a dam, to sensitively control the flow of water, both in the pond and downstream. Beavers work with the healing flow and emotional life of individuals and the community, sensing and building what is needed and creating just the right 'Sweetwater' for others and themselves.
SWEETWATER:
Simply learning to Walk a Path of Sweetness. Where everything is just right. Remembering to work with the vibrant flow of energies and through that, nourish ourselves and others from the genuine spirit, soul and beauty always offered through nature.
ALCHEMY:
The philosopher's stone, is a legendary alchemical substance capable of turning base metals into gold, through a seemingly magical process of transformation and creation. With Soul Alchemy, we are taking what is more material, heavy and base within us and transforming it into luminous energy.

I am a river person. The smells, the sounds, the light, the feeling. It's healing medicine. I have always loved rivers, streams and creeks. There is nothing more sacred to me than walking beside or in the middle of a stream, surrounded by mountains and forest. It is a place where you can just be. Water is sensitive, flowing, revitalising, wildly enthusiastic, creative or destructive, and it can inspire deep reflection and peace. Water, our greatest nurturer is essential for our survival. We, like the Earth, are composed of over 70% water. All the community of Nature, seeks and needs water for life. Whilst growing up in Oregon, I found Beaver Ponds to be a place of magic and solitude. They find just the right creek or stream, chew down timber and create a dam, to sensitively control the flow of water, both in the pond and downstream. In an esoteric way, Beavers work with the healing flow and emotional life of individuals and the community, sensing and building what is needed and creating just the right 'Sweetwater'. Sweetwater is learning to create 'sweetness in life', as a hummingbird draws the sweet nectar from a flower in bloom and takes it on its journey. We too can learn to nourish ourselves and others from the genuine spirit, soul and beauty always offered within nature, in its most humble expression and Walk a Path of Sweetness.
